Health Visitors & Well Baby Clinic

Health Visitors are employed by the Primary Care Trusts and look after children from birth to school age.
A Health Visitor will be assigned to you and your child when they are notified of the birth.

We have an allocated Health Visitor who will be looking after all of our families with young children. Her name is Millie please contact reception if you need to get her contact details.

Your Health Visitor should be your first point of call for any queries about your baby/child if they are well but you are worried about them. Issues might include:-

If the Health Visitor thinks you need to see a GP they will let you know.


The Healthy Start Team run walk-in baby clinics for general advice. The clinic times are:-

Baby 1Gracefield Gardens Health and Social Care Centre (Ground Floor)
Mondays from 10:00 - Breastfeeding clinic
Mondays 13:30-15:30 - Baby Clinic
Tuesdays 9:30 – 11:30 - Baby Clinic
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 13:30 - 17:30 - Baby Massage (by appointment only)
Thursdays from 10:00 - New Mum and Baby Course


Emmanuel & St Andrews Church Hall
Thursdays 13:30 – 15:30 - Baby Clinic
No appointments are necessary.

Gracefield Gardens Health and Social Care Centre is at 2-8 Gracefield Gardens where our surgery is located.
Emmanuel & St Andrews Church Hall is attached to the church on Streatham High Road, opposite Streatham Common.
