District Nursing

If you need nursing services at home, the doctor or practice nurse will refer you to our attached District nurse.

Jean Wills 

District nurses are employed by the Primary care Trust to provide nursing care to the local adult population.

They help the GP's ensure that you receive the care you need if you can't access the surgery.

This includes among other things:

• Diabetes management
• Ulcer care
• Wound management
• Blood tests
• Flu vaccinations
• Palliative Care
