Travel Clinic

If you are travelling abroad you are likely to need vaccinations against diseases which are not prevalent in the UK. Our Practice nurse will give you advice on health issues in the country and area you are going to and will advise you on which vaccinations you require.
You can then come in for your vaccinations during any of Dawn's surgery hours.
These are currently Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
What do you need to do
Please be aware that some of the vaccinations require more than one dose and some do not become effective until a number of weeks after the injection. Please ensure you contact the nurse with enough time before your trip to ensure the vaccinations you require are effective.
If you wish to research further information prior to your appointment with Dawn the fitfortravel website has health information for travelling abroad.
