Training

At times we may have medical or nursing students attached to our practice.

They will be of varying levels:-

Training

They may be sitting in with another member of staff, or involved in delivering your care.

If you prefer not to be seen by a student or to have them sitting in on your consultation, please feel free to ask for them to leave.

We may also have work experience students working on reception at certain times during the year. Please bear with these students as they learn about reception work.

Foundation Year 2 Doctors in training

We currently have an F2 Trainee GP working at the surgery.

They are on rotation from Guy's and St Thomas' hospital and stay with us for four months at a time.
April to August
August to December
December to April.

They are fully trained Doctors who have already worked at Guy's and St Thomas' for over a year. They have longer appointments than the permanent GP's and also have the supervision of the GP on duty for any complex cases.

GP Registrar

We also have a GP Registrar working at the surgery.

She has been a qualified doctor for 4 years and has been training in hospitals and GP practices. She is in her final year before becoming a General Practitioner.
